Great Lakes Nursery Soils has been making container media and specification soils for the Nursery Industry for 20+ years. We are proud members of the Michigan Nursery Landscape Association since 1999 and have been BBB Accredited Business since 1996.

At Great Lakes Nursery Soils, we specialize in offering premium quality container media, colored mulch, natural mulch, compost soils and specification soils. We maintain a large selection of standard container media and have the ability to customize a mixture that will meet any of your soil needs. All of our container mixes are carefully blended to meet the specific requirements that you may have. We are willing to work side by side with you to create a soil that has a consistent p.H. porosity and moisture holding capacity to ensure you a quality final product.

In addition to our large inventory of soil, we stock a hefty quantity and variety of mulch, chips and bark. Some of our inventory includes shredded hardwood bark, red pine bark, cedar mulch, natural mulch, and playground material.
